Programs & Events


Libraries Rock is the theme for the 2018 Summer Reading Program, for children who have just completed 5th grade & younger.

Read books from the library shelves or eBook titles from Missouri Libraries 2 Go and Tumble Books from the Library website.  Weekly programs at 10am Thursdays include:

  • June 7 - Angela Rash & daughter Jessica
  • June 14 - Libraries Rock, songs and fun
  • June 21 - Shawn Christ
  • June 28 - Story Time
  • Friday, June 29 - Marty Hahne, the Magician, will perform at the Buffalo United Methodist Church Family Life Center, at the corner of Pine & Benton Streets.  Everyone is welcome.

July 14th will be the last day to turn in completed reading log sheets.  Turn in all 5 sheets to be eligible for a grand prize drawing.  Smaller prizes will be awarded with each completed sheet.

Some of our young visitors on National Superhero Day. Children age 12 and under who dressed up as their favorite Superhero (real or fictional) & visited the Library, got their name in a drawing for a Wal-Mart gift certificate. Congratulations, Jayden!
