How do I get a library card?
You will need to live in Dallas County, along with two items showing proof of your address.
1. Your picture ID
2. Any piece of junk mail or voter ID card, etc… (Has to have your current mailing address)
Your picture ID is showing your identity and the piece of mail is showing proof of address.
Do you have copiers and fax services?
Yes we do, however we only print in black and white.
How much does it cost to print or fax?
To print the costs are
- 15 cents for single sided
- 25 cents for double sided
- To fax it costs $1.00 per page
Does the library have public computers?
We currently have eight computers for the public to use (if you have a library card with us). If by chance you do not have a library card with us you can get one that day or pay $1.00 for computer use (also have to have ID card).
How much does it cost to get a library card?
It is free to get your first library card, but if you lose it, it will be $4.00 to replace.
Do you take donations?
Yes! Donations are always greatly appreciated, if we do not use it in our library it will go next door to the Friends of the Library for them to sell.
Do you have tax forms?
Yes, we have the current tax forms that we print off of IRS.gov, saving you some of the hassle.
If the library is closed how can I return my books?
If you would like to return an item while the library is closed there is a drop box available 24/7 located in the front of the library.
